For the past 4 years, the S+K Project has existed without any funding from public bodies, trusts or foundations. In order to keep our events affordable for everyone, we need support from you to contribute to the costs of running the organisation. To do this, we’re throwing a fundraiser like no other. As part of our commitment to showcasing emerging artists from all walks of life, we’ve asked some friends old and new to come through and do their ting! Including live performances from Latir, Chelle OT (+ more TBA), an installation by our very own Rumi Woolf (VOID is touring the UK Autumn 2019), a staged reading of Virtue by stand-up and playwright Stella Ajayi (directed by Robert Awosusi), a DJ set from Hana Raage and so much more, you do not want to miss this end-of-year link up. The price of your ticket will go towards the fees of core staff who plan and deliver our radical and accessible programme of work, including our innovative artist development programme - Scratch That, our national networking event for artists of colour - Bring Me In, our national networking events for artists of colour, and to manage our ever-growing participatory work with young people from all backgrounds.
