This is a summer residency programme delivered by the Bunker’s core artistic team to develop a professional level production with aspiring young actors who have had no, or little, formal professional acting training.
The 15 selected participants will rehearse a contemporary play with a professional director, supported by a professional design and technical team. The show will be fully realized in one of London’s most exciting and highly praised off-West End venues, The Bunker.
Not only will the 15 chosen participants be part of an ambitious and intense rehearsal and creative process, there will be the opportunity to undertake one-on-one sessions in preparation for Drama School entrance auditions and other merit-based projects (including A-Level and LAMDA work) with our talented and experienced creative team.

Who can apply?

This opportunity is open to any aspiring actors aged 16—21 resident in the UK who want to immerse themselves in a professional theatre environment. This will include 10 days of rehearsal, three days of 10am—10pm technical rehearsals, three performances, and a series of tailored workshops to support growth and development as an actor.
This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to apply to drama school or a drama foundation course, as well as those looking to gain their first professional acting experience during university.
